Why We Are Going to Colorado
A Pilgrimage is designed to take the pilgrims out of their normal milieu, and put them into a situation where they must rely and explore their relationship with God. Pilgrims are walking in the footsteps of others who have searched for - and found - God. Our pilgrimage site was chosen by the group from Church of the Holy Comforter, who will be sharing the journey with us. Our pilgrimage will take us to locations that are unfamiliar and unusual, with the hope that by putting ourselves into a situation where we are mildly uncomfortable, we will come to rely more wholly on God. Our pilgrimage will be about 8 days, beginning on July 16, 2011.

You Can Help Trinity’s Youth Achieve Their Pilgrimage Goal
The Pilgrimage is the Keystone in the Journey to Adulthood Curriculum used at Trinity for the past 10 years. Our youth will be attempting to raise about $15,000. for 8 students and two leaders to take the pilgrimage to Colorado in 2011. We want to pay all the expenses for the leaders; the youth and their families will personally contribute part of the money required for the pilgrimage.

Quiz Night Sat Sept 25 6 – 9 p.m.
Come for a roast beef and chicken dinner and stay for the fun! Tables of 8 in Memorial Hall work together to answer questions in categories such as science, art, music, spelling and history. The cost of $20/person covers dinner and entertainment -- and helps send our youth to their pilgrimage in Colorado.

Many members of Trinity Church, Trinity Children’s Center (TECC), and The Surprise Shop are working together to offer a community fall festival featuring live music, food, an art sale, crafts, a bulb and autumn plant sale, scarecrow making and pumpkin decorating, a kid’s zone with moon bounces, face painting, games, and activities, vendors, all on the grounds of Trinity.
