Pentecost at Trinity

As part of an inter-generational event on April 25, the Sunday school students, youth, and adults made a banner for each of the Horizons priorities.

Our plan is to hang them in the church and later, the parish hall. During the offertory at our Pentecost service, each parishioner will be invited to come forward and place a colorful paper flame on the banner naming a Horizons priority they feel most committed to working on in the coming year.

These banners were made of rice paper and acid-free scrapbook paper. The orange, yellow, and gold paper flames that will later be affixed to the banners by members of the Trinity congregation are about 3 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inches.
