Welcome to Trinity Church Towson
Dear God, guide us at Trinity Episcopal Church to be an inclusive and caring Christ-centered community nurtured by our worship and tradition. We ask you to strengthen and guide us as we live out our mission to welcome and celebrate the diversity of all people through spiritual education, growth in faith and service in Christ’s Name. Amen.
Trinity Congregational Survey
As more people are vaccinated and restrictions for public worship ease, we are gathering confidential feedback from as many people as possible to assess how concerned you are about returning to indoor worship unmasked and with the possibility of no social distancing requirements.
Please take a moment to answer a few questions to help us with this process. We ask that you complete this 2 minute survey individually, not as a household (since opinions may differ).

Come, Holy Spirit!
We have lots of Good News to share this week.
Sunday Morning Restrictions Relaxed
The office of the Bishop has granted us permission to sing together inside as long as we remain masked and six feet apart. They have also clarified that worship leaders may go unmasked so long as they are in the chancel. When we come out into the nave to distribute Holy Communion, however, we must wear masks.
Sunday Morning Schedule
God willing, the pandemic downward trend will continue. Because of this, the summer heat, and the monstrous regiment of cicadas, all services will be inside the church. We will continue to worship at 8am & 10am Sunday mornings, except for this Sunday, May 23rd (Pentecost) and June 6th, when we celebrate our All Trinity Summer Social. We will have only ONE service on May 23rd and June 6th at 10 am.
Sunday Morning Hospitality and Fellowship
We are now welcome to share hospitality and fellowship after church outdoors. Refreshments are permitted so long as they are prepackaged. We have a few picnic tables and are considering acquiring more. If you have ever wanted to be a part of our ministry of hospitality, now is the time to get in on planning how we carry out this call in the post-pandemic world.
Sunday Morning Music
While we will have our choristers for Pentecost and June 6, we do not have song leaders other Sundays. This means we have an opportunity to renew and innovate our worship music. While we rebuild this ministry, we will rely on familiar hymns accompanied by our organ. I will send out links each week to refresh your memory or get more familiar with the hymn tunes for Sunday.
This week, Mary and I visited the Episcopal Carmel of St Teresa monastery up in Rising Sun. Some weeks ago I received a letter from Carmelite Sister Teresa Irene to offer us back a sweet little altar that Rev. Jim Ransom had given them some twenty or so years ago. The...
In the shorter, cooler days of autumn and winter, chickens lay fewer eggs, or stop laying altogether. Among the surest signs of spring’s return are the first fresh eggs. Thus did the egg become a potent symbol of life and hope. To celebrate the return of light and...
Rogation Sunday is upon us. The Sunday before Ascension Day is traditionally a day when we raise our voices to God in supplication for health, prosperity, justice, and well-being for ourselves, the community, and the whole world. While the focus is often on...

I encourage you to use this option as a way to send us a little something (0.5%) every time you shop. Many of you know that I am not an Amazon fan, but if you rely on it, by all means use it to support Trinity.
