Preschool Spotlight
This past Wednesday I has the pleasure of attending our Trinity Preschool’s Thanksgiving Feast with preschool students and multiple generations of family! Our school parents and teachers worked together to create a true feast of lasagna, spaghetti, salad, toasted garlic bread, and a HUGE table of dessert pastries. It was festive, friendly, and lots of fun.
As much as I enjoyed the food and the company—and 50+ little ones running around in handmade Turkey Crowns—what I enjoyed most was hearing from our preschool families about how much they love Trinity. No fewer than 5 families told me that Trinity has transformed their children and even their own lives for the better. One mother told me that her daughter’s pediatrician said, “I don’t know where [she’s] in preschool, but they’re doing a great job. It’s great to hear how successful this ministry is in our community.
Our Trinity Preschool children have asked us to join in their innovative, end-of-year fundraiser for classroom technology upgrades and teacher professional development. It’s called Partners in Kindness , like a walk-a-thon only with acts of kindness and service. In gratitude for our support, our students will “pay it forward” in their families, their classrooms, and their neighborhoods.
It’s a great way to raise funds while teaching our little ones about our caring, Christ-centered values. Please click this link before December 9 to be a part of this great preschool event. If you prefer to mail a check, please send it to Trinity Episcopal Preschool at 120 Allegheny Ave.
On Thursday, November 30, Trinity Church and Preschool are co-sponsoring a wreath-making event from 4:30-6pm. Join in the fun of crafting Advent Wreaths for your table or Christmas wreaths for your door!
There is no fee for this event, but your free-will donation to offset the cost of materials is welcome. Please contact Laura McGuire at lmcguire@trinitychurchtowson.org to let us know if you’re coming so we have enough greens for everyone.
